Springfield Hospital Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists and led by an experienced Medical Director who oversees a skilled team that includes board certified Pathologists, Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Laboratory Aids, and Phlebotomists.

Our lab provides high quality diagnostic testing, utilizing advanced equipment to provide accurate results in a timely manner, for every department in the hospital as well as area providers.

Lab capabilities include chemistry, hematology, and urinalysis as well as a blood bank.  Our phlebotomists collect samples at several conveniently located blood draw stations.

The results of most in house tests are available the same day.

All test results are protected and confidential.  The laboratory will only give out results to the physician or allied health professionals responsible for the patient's care.
