Test Code 4016100 Bordetella Pertussis PCR Panel/Culture

Important Note

Bordetella Pertussis testing is NOT being performed by VDHL at this time.  Please use the alternative Bordetella Pertussis PCR test offered by Mayo.

For optimal recovery and detection of Bordetella spp., specimen(s) should arrive at the Vermont Department of Health Laboratory within 1 day of collection. Specimen(s) received after 4 days from the date of collection will be rejected for testing by culture.
