Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 2 hours of collection.

Specimen Type: Medical device
Container/Tube: Sterile container
Specimen Volume: Entire specimen
Collection Instructions:
1. Place entire device, including any exudate, in sterile container.

2. Label container with patient’s name, identification number, date and time of collection, and type of specimen.
3. Do not refrigerate.
