Specimen Volume: Entire specimen
Collection Instructions: Depress the tongue with a tongue depressor.
Sample the posterior pharynx, tonsils, and inflamed areas with a sterile swab.
E Swab is acceptable for Culture ONLY. If a Rapid Strep is also desired a Copan swab MUST be sent.
